WHAT DOES HYPNOSIS FEEL LIKE?
Everybody experiences hypnosis in their own way. However, many clients describe the process as enjoyable and deeply relaxing. People often report that upon coming out of the process, they feel calm and very peaceful, as if they have had a really good night’s sleep.
WILL I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON?
Yes, you will be aware of everything that is going on during the session. Many clients recall the sessions in great detail. Some techniques require two-way communications between the client
and the therapist which requires the client to be fully aware in order to play their
part.
IS HYPNOSIS GUARANTEED?
Whilst no treatment can be guaranteed to be successful, there is evidence to support the use of hypnotherapy across a variety of presenting issues. We guarantee that we will do our best to help you and in return, our approach requires a level of commitment and motivation from our clients.
WHAT IF I CAN'T BE HYPNOTISED?
Although people respond to hypnotherapy in different ways, in our experience everybody who wants to enter hypnosis is able to do so to some extent.
Many of the techniques we use do not require formal hypnosis in order to be effective.
WILL I LOSE
CONTROL?
You will not lose any form of control during the process. Despite popular
myths and the impression given during stage hypnosis shows, you
cannot be forced to do anything
you don't want to do whilst in
hypnosis.
WILL I BE
UNCONSCIOUS?
No, you will be conscious during
the hypnotherapy sessions. In fact,
hypnotic suggestions would be
far less effective if a client was
asleep or unconscious when
they were given.
